Cincinnati Weddings

Cincinnati is known for many wonderful things: Great food such as Skyline Chili, Montgomery Inn and Graeters ice cream just to name a few. Good sports teams with The Cincinnati Reds (The Great Big Red Machine in the 70’s) and The Bengals (even if not winning all the time). Cincinnati is also home to some infamous/famous celebs as well such as Jerry Springer, Pete Rose, President Taft and recent celebrities like Nick Lachey and Carmen Electra.

One thing that I do not think people realize is that Cincinnati is also an awesome city to get married in! With so many wonderful venues to choose from, florists to check out, caterers to taste…and not to mention the wonderful Cincinnati weather. Now keep in mind this is coming from a born and raised Cincinnati girl, but I love the weather here in the city. We have 4 very distinct seasons so any bride can pick her favorite weather and time of year and choose to get married then. We also have the city venues for those city girls or beautiful country living for those who wish to keep it low key. Now do not get me wrong I love a romantic beach ceremony…but you can also experience a fabulous wedding right here in the Queen City.

One of my favorite things about the city is there is ALWAYS something going on so your out of town guests need not ever be bored! I love seeing a wedding where the bride and groom take the time to leave a little welcome basket in the hotel for their out of town guests, inside the basket they hit on a few great things to do while in the city. Keep in mind Dulce Designs can create these baskets for you with all your favorite Cincinnati goodies as well as some things going on that day/weekend. Just a nice touch to let your guests know you appreciate their travels in to see your big day.

I love working in Cincinnati and doing candy buffets/favors for all of my brides. One of the reasons I love it so much is this city provides me with alot of inspiration and ideas to work from…I have yet to do a wedding that was similar to any others. What can I say…I love my city!  (See picture below of me on my wedding day with the CITY in the background…one last plus, the skyline makes for great pictures!)
