Kara’s Party Ideas Post

The past few weeks have been full of fantastic craziness and we are loving every minute of it! We were so excited to launch our DIY Candy Buffet eBook  full of tips and tricks to set up your own candy display. A few days after the release of our eBook we found out that we were featured on Kara’s Party Ideas. If you are a party planning fanatic like I am then you are probably familiar with the national planning website…so to be featured on it was a huge honor to me! Kara’s Party Ideas is a wonderful resource to help you plan and get ideas for just about any themed party you may have coming up. The party they featured was my son’s first birthday party which was a Mickey Mouse theme!

Thank you again Kara’s Party Ideas for including Dulce Designs on your site. Here is a little snippet of the write up they did!

Mickey Mouse Party Details:

This is what Angela said about plannign/styling the party- “My son’s greatest love besides goldfish crackers and our two beagles is Mickey Mouse. So when it came time for his first birthday party I knew exactly what theme we were going to go with. Besides being a mommy to Nolan, I am the owner of a candy/dessert buffet company (Dulce Designs) so I love a good theme to decorate and design around, especially when it comes to throwing parties for my loved ones. We were able to come up with some really great ideas for his birthday party such as a photo booth, festive food, themed party hats, Mickey bowling and a custom dessert table. The birthday party was held at an indoor kids play cafe called Ozo cafe. This was the perfect location because it had so much for the little one’s to play with while the adults could relax a bit. We had the very talented Michelle with NIxon photography there to capture every detail for us. It was a wonderful birthday party and thanks to Nixon photography we will have memories that will last a lifetime”
