Christmas Card Save the Dates!

For all of you newly engaged couples wanting to send out save the dates, why not include it with your Christmas card?!

Save the date cards are a very big trend right now becoming more and more popular amongst brides. It is great to give your guests plenty of advanced notice so they make sure to plan around your event, especially if you are having a summer wedding or if your big event is around a holiday. Save the date options are endless and can be alot of fun to make, you can get really creative with them or keep them simple and to the point. The save the dates can include your engagement photos or just showcase the style of your big event. It is best to send them out after you have secured your venue and date, anywhere from 6-8 months prior to your event. You can put whatever information you want on your save the dates, just make sure they include your names and date to be saved and follow up by saying “Formal invitation to follow”.

With the holidays approaching I think it is a great way to combine your save the date with your Christmas cards. My husband and I did this and it was nice to get two things done at once. We ordered ours from Snapfish with a holiday greeting and photo on the front and our save the date information on the back. Snapfish is one of many great greeting card sites where you can personalize your cards at a very reasonable price.
